Outdoor homeschool programs rooted in discovery and connection
Homeschool Programs
Coyote Club gives children ages 6–10 time to explore, build friendships and deepen their connection with the natural world.
Homeschool Programs: Coyote Club
Our homeschool programs give children ages 6–10 consistent time for outdoor learning, play, friendship and discovery in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.
Coyote Club is offered during the school year for homeschool children ages 6–10. Each seasonal session centers on free play and curiosity while fostering a love of learning through immersive, nature-based experiences. With a strong foundation in nature connection, Coyote Club emphasizes wildcrafts, naturalist skills and mindfulness practices. Students naturally engage with science, art, geography, creativity, awareness and their place in the natural world.
Our homeschool programs give children consistent time to build friendships, follow their curiosity, practice collaboration and develop confidence outdoors. Small groups allow educators to respond to individual interests while helping children deepen observation, communication and problem-solving skills across the seasons.
Families can learn more about home-study requirements and resources through the Vermont Agency of Education. Field, Farm & Forest programs complement a family’s home-study plan with hands-on learning rooted in the forests, fields, weather and communities of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.

Every session offers a balance of familiar rhythms and new discoveries. Children revisit favorite places, notice seasonal changes, share ideas and take age-appropriate responsibility for their group. These experiences help homeschool students connect academic learning with the living world while developing resilience, patience and care for one another.
